Public Holidays in South Korea – Google Calendar

I was trying to add Korean and Japanese public holidays to my Google Calendar and then I found that I could embed customized calendar to WordPress blog.

Because I don’t know how things work in Korea, I assume that the red ones are public holidays when people get days off, and the green ones are other celebration days or days related to seasons, etc. when people don’t get days off.

I like watching Korean weather forecast on YouTube in the morning and usually the weather girl mentions what day  it is today, for example, on June 21,  the weather girl said that day was 하지 (summer solstice/midsummer) and that’s how I got curious about Korean holidays. ###
